For 20 seasons, HOOLIGAN has been a nurturing environment for individuals from a wide array of backgrounds, offering a welcoming space to explore the art of theatre. As an entirely student-led organization and the largest theatre group outside of UCLA’s School of Theatre, we take great pride in our role within the UCLA community. Our members are deeply passionate about theatre, though many come from fields outside of formal theatrical studies.
At HOOLIGAN, we are committed to providing educational experiences in theatre, striving to connect people with the dynamic and enchanting world of performing arts. Our aim is to make theatre accessible to all UCLA undergraduates, welcoming people of any and all experience levels. Through our productions, we offer a chance to gain a deeper understanding of the theatre process and become part of a lively and supportive artistic community. We believe that theatre should be available to all, and collaboratively, we can all contribute to and benefit from a HOOLIGAN production.
