Mission Statement
As an educational theatre company on UCLA’s campus, HOOLIGAN strives to increase accessibility to and quality of theatre education for students both at UCLA and in the greater Los Angeles area.
On-Campus (and Virtual) Events
Join us for a workshop if you are a UCLA student! Whether it be in preparation for your next audition or just to fine tune some skills, HOOLIGAN’s Education Department offers a wide variety of free workshops tailored to UCLA students. Follow HOOLIGAN on social media to stay up to date with what workshops are happening soon!
Education also plans and produces a variety of events specifically geared towards UCLA students. We facilitate and teach workshops on campus for both non-HOOLIGANS and HOOLIGANS alike. These involve a variety of performing skills, including directing, monologue analysis, and music theory for singers. Check out our virtual dance workshop for "Blinding Lights" here!
The department also runs HOOLIGAN’s #events in the Slack to welcome casts and crews to new productions and offers performance opportunities through our open-mic-night cabarets, called Music and Chilligan.
