Creative Team

Welcome!

Welcome to HOOLIGAN’s Creative Team page! This is where you can find information about joining a creative team for one of our shows and more information about each role. Working directly with the cast and crew, a creative team works together to build the creative vision for a show and discovers how to translate that onto the stage. There are many roles within a creative team open to all levels of experience, so if you are interested in any of the roles below, creative team might be for you!
If you're wondering more about why YOU should join a HOOLIGAN creative team, please watch this video!

Upcoming Opportunities

Unfortunately, all creative team opportunities for this year have passed. However, make sure to keep an eye out on our Instagram for tickets to this quarter's events and opportunities next year!

Who is Creative Team?

If you want to be part of taking the show from script to stage, the creative team is the place to be! Scroll down to find our current set of positions and a description of what each entails.
  • Director - The director and assistants steer the overall creative vision of the show and work closely with the cast and crew, especially helping the actors with their scenes and character work.

  • Vocal Director - The vocal director and their assistants work with the cast to teach and polish all of the music in the show. They also work with the music director and pit orchestra to ensure the cast is comfortable with the score.

  • Choreography - The choreographer and their assistants create the dance and movement sequences for a show, usually a musical.
  • Music Direction - The music director helps the pit orchestra learn the score for the musical and acts as the conductor during the shows and rehearsals. They work closely with the vocal director and choreographer to ensure the cast is comfortable with the score.

  • Stage Management - The stage manager and their assistants attend all rehearsals, learn all the cues in the show, and manage cast rehearsal attendance. The stage manager also calls all of the tech cues during the show, while the ASMs work in the wings making sure the cast and crew are in the right place at the right time.
